The colour scheme on this cover for mixmag contrasts to the background
colour making it stand out more, this makes the cover features more noticeable
so that they are more eye catching and makes some one more likely to buy it.
The colour scheme is not the same in every issue; the colours are set to stand
out from the background and to reflect on something from the main image. The
masthead in each issue can either fit in with the colour scheme or be
completely different so it stands out. The mast head is white which again stays
with the house style; it is also in the top of the cover and centred this is
the same as the majority of the issues. The colours used for this cover are
blue, yellow, black and white; the black and white are contrasting colours
which makes them stand out against each other. The main image is centred this
is done because it’s a two shot, making it centred allows for both the people
to be the focus of the main image rather than having one more focused on than
the other.
